About Craig

Craig is the Founder and Founder of Intrinsic Education, an high-performance positive psychology based coaching and educational consultancy, based in Kwa-Zulu Natal, South Africa. His work in Positive Education has led him to connect with Lea and her Visible Wellbeing work. Intrinsic Educational is proud to be bringing this work into Africa to make a difference in helping schools to be flourishing spaces for teachers and students alike.

Craig’s educational career spans close to 30 years of teaching, training, and coaching. Across the independent and state sectors in the United Kingdom and South Africa. His teaching career included leadership roles, as Special Education Needs Co-ordinator (SENCo), Director of Hockey, Head of Learning Development, Head of Year, Deputy Headmaster and Headmaster.

Craig is a member of the International Positive Psychology Association, the International Positive Education Network and the Association for Coaching. As a qualified teacher and coach, Craig also holds a Masters in Applied Psychology, as well as a Post Graduate Certificate in Positive Education. He has a Post Graduate Leadership Certificate from Wits Business School, is a certified NLP Trainer and Master Trainer in the de Bono Thinking skills. He is a life long learner and his passion for Positive Psychology and Positive Education has led to him connecting and working closely with the leading experts in this field. As an ex-International sportsman he also has a passion for transferring these skills into the international sports arena, and is currently working with National teams and athletes from throughout the world.

Craig strives to use all of his experiences, connections and skills to enable those he works with to find their personal and collective purpose and to achieve their unique potential, whilst flourishing in in all aspects of their lives.
