About Nada
For the past 8 years, Nada has worked for the Government of Dubai’s Knowledge and Human Development Authority, leading projects and spreading awareness of positive education and wellbeing to over 200 private schools in Dubai. She co-led projects that measured student and teacher wellbeing at a participant scale of over 100k students and 11k teachers and convened the school sector on a regular basis through the delivery of workshops and activities. Using a strengths-based approach, Nada inspired the community to learn more about wellbeing, to collaborate across schools and to share success stories.
More recently, she has been a key member of KHDA’s COVID-19 rapid response team and was the primary liaison point on the Expo 2020 project. Her passion lies in collaboration; bringing people together and connecting the dots across networks of people, exemplified by her work in developing the IPEN MENA hub.
Nada is a member of the International Positive Education Network (IPEN), PESA and IPPA. She has degrees in Arts (Psychology) and Information Management and a postgraduate diploma in Business from Monash University.
Nada was born in Melbourne and worked for the Australian Bureau of Statsitics prior to moving to the United Arab Emirates. She currently resides back home in Melbourne with her family.
