About Sally
Sally Wynne (MAPP, BEd (Primary) is a primary school teacher with fifteen years classroom experience.
Sally is passionate about bringing wellbeing to all students in all classrooms to ensure early intervention of wellbeing for future thriving.
After experiencing Visible Wellbeing in her school, Ravenswood, Sally embarked on the journey of the Master of Applied Positive Psychology to educate herself further. Being part of the Visible Wellbeing intervention team gave her a clear way of teaching what she has always placed importance on in the classroom. Having completed the Harvard Visible Thinking online course, Sally felt combining visible thinking with wellbeing was a clear and easy to understand framework of using positive psychology at its best.
Sally’s own experience of implementing the Visible Wellbeing Program in her own life enhanced her wellbeing and was influential in the creation of future career goals. By practising Visible Wellbeing in her own life Sally was able to experience the benefits in her private and professional life.
Sally is a member of the International Positive Psychology Association and Positive Education Schools Association. She is an avid life-long learner who is always looking to improve her skills and knowledge. Sally thrives on sharing her knowledge with others. Her studies in the Master of Applied Positive Psychology have enabled her to gain deep knowledge and understanding of wellbeing.
Sally has guided and supported her colleagues in the implementation of Visible Wellbeing in her own school and as a stage coordinator she has embedded Visible Wellbeing into existing programs in the Primary Years Programme framework.
Her experiences in schools have cemented her passion for enhancing wellbeing for all students and staff and teaching all members of the education system how to manage their own wellbeing.
